'Tain't a toy, McGee. And 'tain't surplus. This digital dB meter from Sper Scientific is pocket-sized--8" x 1-5/8" x 7/8"--and measures sound levels from 32 to130 dB with a built-in 1/2" microphone using (2) "AAA" batteries (included). The resolution is 0.1 dB and it's accurate to within 1.5 dB. Has a built-in calibration oscillator and comes with a foam windscreen and small screwdriver for calibrating. It's very easy to use, with one-button operation on what the manufacturer calls the smallest, lightest dB meter on the market--to help you stay a step ahead of OSHA.
