This little 6VDC Mabuchi motor (part #RE-36) draws only 20mA. Spins approx 3000 rpm and measures 1-1/4" x1-1/16" dia with a 3/8" long shaft and a 5/16" dia x 1/4" 8-tooth gear. Runs a tad a squeaky so CJ recommends a dab of machine oil before use.
Our light-duty 12VDC motor draws just 5mA no load, stalls at 100mA and spins approx 700 rpm. Measures 1-1/4" dia x 3/4" with a 11/32" long x 1/16" shaft. Solder terminals on the bottom. Great for small projects and science fairs.
This 12VDC gear motor is a new reversible double-shafted automotive seat motor that was never installed in the auto. Draws 1.3A no load, stalls at approx 9.5A and spins 2,500 rpms. Output is through 1/8" sq x 5/8" deep ports at the front and back of the housing (we'll include (2) short, square shafts to get you started). Housing measures 4-5/8" long x 1-29/32" dia with (2) shrouded power terminals at one end and (2) 3/16" dia spurs at the other. Overall, it's 5" x 2-3/4" across.
This little assembly, which our technical types found very interesting, has an easily reversible Swiss 12VDC gear motor that draws only 4mA no load and stalls at 120mA. Spins approx 75 rpm through a 5/8"dia, 30-tooth gear with what looks to be a 48 pitch. This mates with an identical gear driving a camshaft with a 3-part plastic feeder track, and there's also an encoder wheel with (4) pins that we don't understand. Entire unit measures 3-1/2" x 1" x 1-3/4" and is made in Switzerland for a change.
These 3-12VDC replacement window motors from Chrysler spin approx 120 RPM, draw 3.3A no load and stall at 10.3A. Rated 12VDC nominal. Output is through a 23/32" dia x 5/16" 32-tooth gear at a right angle to the housing, which has a trio of 3/8" double-keyed mounting holes. Measure 7-1/4" x 5" x 1-1/2" thick, with two-pin connectors. You pick driver's side (part #128001052) or passenger side (part #128001051).
This 3-phase brushless 12VDC motor from Nidec draws 2.5A max through the red and black leads with what we think are coil taps, and Hall effect outputs through the other (4) leads. Measures 36mm (1.4") dia x 40mm (1.6") long with a 4mm (0.16") dia x 19mm (0.75") shaft with a removable cam. Includes a spec sheet.
This nice little no-name gear motor spins approx 200 rpm at 12VDC, draws 25mA no load and stalls at 2.6A, with pretty good performance at 6VDC too. Output through a 1/4" dia shaft on a bushing with a plastic 9/16" dia x 5/32" thick 16-tooth gear, which is easily removable from the flattened shaft. Housing measures 2-1/8" long x 1-7/16" dia and the shaft extends 7/8". Comes with 18" leads with Molex connectors.
