This older (let's say vintage) but unused blue enamel reversible Mabuchi DC motor has a little window on one side, so you can watch it work. It's rated for 1.5-12VDC. At 6V it draws 30mA, stalls at 260mA and spins at approx 600 rpm. At 12VDC it draws 320mA, stalls at 2.5A and spins approx 1350 rpm. Measures 1-3/8" long x 1-11/32" dia with flattened sides and dual 3/32" shafts, one just under 3/8" and one at 1/4". Has a pair of 5" leads.
This small 6-12VDC reversible motor from Mabuchi draws 75mA and spins at 2400 rpm with a low 8g/cm torque. Measures 1-5/16" dia x 1" with a 9mm/6mm ID single sheave pulley on a 5/16" long x 1/16" dia shaft. Has solder tabs for power.
Officially designated "great" by our house gearhead Bill, these 12VDC, .21A (.57A stall) gear motors are 2-3/8" long x 1-15/16" dia at the gearbox head x 1-1/16" dia at the body, with a 3/16" x 5/16" long flattened shaft. Terrific torque and operate from 3-12VDC with 12 being nominal. Reversible with (2) solder terminals on the back. You pick the 20, 50, 150 or 300 rpm motor.
This 12VDC gear motor is a new reversible double-shafted automotive seat motor that was never installed in the auto. Draws 1.3A no load, stalls at approx 9.5A and spins 2,500 rpms. Output is through 1/8" sq x 5/8" deep ports at the front and back of the housing (we'll include (2) short, square shafts to get you started). Housing measures 4-5/8" long x 1-29/32" dia with (2) shrouded power terminals at one end and (2) 3/16" dia spurs at the other. Overall, it's 5" x 2-3/4" across.
This 12VDC gear motor from Bühler Motor® (341 4 305 A) spins at approx 40 rpm, draws 25mA, stalls at 1.7A and gives us a chance to use an umlaut. Measures 1-7/8" x 1-5/8" x 1-1/8" with an offset 3/8" x 1-8" flattened and keyed shaft. Includes a pair of 7" leads. Made in Germany, along with most umlauts.
These 3-12VDC replacement window motors from Chrysler spin approx 120 RPM, draw 3.3A no load and stall at 10.3A. Rated 12VDC nominal. Output is through a 23/32" dia x 5/16" 32-tooth gear at a right angle to the housing, which has a trio of 3/8" double-keyed mounting holes. Measure 7-1/4" x 5" x 1-1/2" thick, with two-pin connectors. You pick driver's side (part #128001052) or passenger side (part #128001051).
We believe this permanent-magnet gear motor was made to power a car seat (move your butt!) but we could be wrong. Nice though, at 5" long x 2-1/2" square in a steel body with an aluminum head and a square 5/32" hollow shaft. Operates from 6-12VDC with a 12VDC nominal. Spins 500 rpm with 16 inch-pounds of torque and a 20A stall. Reversible and intermittent duty. Nice motor that could move lots of stuff for you.
His little 6VDC Mabuchi motor (part #RE-36) draws only 20mA. Spins approx 3000 rpm and measures 1-1/4" x1-1/16" dia with a 3/8" long shaft and a 5/16" dia x 1/4" 8-tooth gear. Runs a tad a squeaky so CJ recommends a dab of machine oil before use.
