Computing speed is considerably slower than even an old 286, but then it's guaranteed to never need rebooting. Instructions included. Made in China, naturally.

Although this is really much too nice for its intended use. Our bright stainless steel, kidney-shaped, uh, bowl, is an oversized 9-3/4" long x 5-1/8" wide x 1-3/4" deep. We're thinking candy dish for someone who's never been in a hospital or water bowl for a dog, because dogs don't care.

Lay Siege To The Doghouse!
Right after you build your own working medieval catapult or trebuchet. All you'll need is glue, scissors and a steady hand (plus a small bag of marbles or rocks or something as a counterweight for the trebuchet) to construct these wooden, Canadian-made siege engine kits. The catapult stands 6" tall x 5" wide x 10" long and will toss assorted stuff 15 feet or farther, depending upon the stuff. The finished trebuchet will be 26" long x 18" wide x 24" tall and will propel small objects (meatballs?) 20 feet or more. Both include detailed instructions. Note: Please don't propel small mammals, and please don't put anyone's eye out.

There are sounds that mosquitoes can't stand. And you can't make those sounds, unless you're Gilbert Gottfried or you have one of these special devices. You can get the wall-mounted/desktop version, 3-1/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-3/4" thick, with an on/off/intensity control. It comes with (3) "AA" batteries and has a plug for a 2.1mm adapter, which we don't have, you won't find, and don't need anyway. Egypto-Chess Laser Game
Board games meet Ramses in the 21st century. Khet, The Laser Game, is played on an 80-square grid with a pharaoh and obelisk playing king and pawn, sort of, plus a mirrored pyramid and a wandering "djed," and it's chess-like, except for the lasers firing from the corners and bouncing off the mirrors. The board measures 17-3/8" x 14-1/4" x 1-1/4" tall and the game is over when the pharaoh gets zapped. Includes (4) "AAA" batteries. For (2) players, ages 9 and up. Double the fun by adding the Eye of Horus Beam Splitters to the basic game (our each is a set of 2), and fire two lasers where there was a single one.

What Wood You Do?
We're pretty sure this was meant to be part of a classy golf umbrella, but the sculptured, varnished, light-wood handle 5-1/2" x 1-1/4" dia OA still opens a world of possibilities. With the 1/4" bore that runs completely through it, you could make a jump rope or any kind of pull. With (1) flat end for it to stand on, and the other, more-rounded end, you could build tiny totems or curvy dolls. Ourselves, we're trying to decide between starting an umbrella business, or staying home to play miniature tenpins. What to do? What to do?
