Chemiluminescence Kit
The Cool Blue Light Experiment Kit uses copper sulfate, perborate and luminol to produce light from the energy released in a chemical reaction. The instructions recommend this kit for experimenters nine years old and up, with adult supervision. Some experiments call for the addition of household chemicals like chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide or sugar.

Protected Lenses
Closed, this 3-1/2" dia x 11/16" thick black- and maroon-plastic disc is a traditional yin/yang design. We don't know that it will produce "all that comes to be," but open, it can let you take a closer look at what's already here. The black section rotates, and within it, (4) magnifying lenses rotate. Double lenses provide (8) views, from 5x to 12x magnification. Not a very large field, but a good design to if it's going to be tossed into her purse/his pocket.

Ready Or Not Skeleton
This skeleton is actually used in medical and other schools for teaching. The bones are plastic, but other than that it's as realistic and anatomically correct as they come. The ready-to-use skeleton is mounted with a 360° swivel at the pelvis from a heavy-duty metal rod on a stand base with castors. It has a skull with a removable section, hinged jaw and (2) removable teeth; plastic zippered dust cover; and stainless steel wire, brackets and wing nut assembly for long life. It's articulated at all joints except the spine, so you can demonstrate flexion/extension, or merely pose it in a debonair posture. Size: 5' 6" tall. Weight: 23 lbs

Tests your starter motor and alternator (or generator) too, and has a switchable 100A load. Comes with (2) 16" cables with copper-plated 2" clamps with teeth on the side in case your battery has those "just try to get a grip on these, pal" side terminals. Each is a complete, 15" tall model of the human body, including skeleton, internal organs and a clear plastic skin through which they may be viewed. Of course, what you get is all the bits and pieces. So the assembler must identify the parts, paint them (optional, paint not included) and glue them together to complete the finished man or woman. Which is what provides the fun and learning. Simple well illustrated directions and a comprehensive booklet summarizing the functions of the parts and explaining the body's systems (respiratory, digestive, endocrine, etc.) are included. Little-approx 4" to 5" long-sharks, dolphins, marlins, sea horses, squid and mermaids that grow in all directions-up to 600 percent-if they spend 72 hours in water. Multicolors, with well-defined features. The sort of things someone could toss into a friends' pool while they were gone for the weekend, to see if they have a sense of humor. Take them out of the water (the creatures, not the friends) and they eventually shrink back to pocket-size. We'll pick (2) different ones for you, but we recommend buying in multiples, because sea creatures, you know, travel in schools.
