What's a Newton?
Even if you don't care a fig, we should tell you that these little hand-held or hangable spring scales are marked in gram and Newton increments. Ours measures up to 100 grams or 1 Newton in 1g or .01 Newton increments. All are plastic and metal, approx 6" long OA.

Owl Scale
As long as your owl doesn't weigh more than 22 lbs. OK, so it's not really for weighing owls; it's nice little 22lb/10kg spring scale that just happens to look exactly like an owl on account of the (2) conjoined round ports at the top for your fingers to slip through. Has a 2" dia dial (which might be a little scruffy) calibrated in 1/2 lb/100g increments and a zero adjustment dial. Measures 4-3/8" long x 2-15/16" dia x 13/16" thick with a 3/4" open hook. (Which you could, in fact, hang your owl from. If you had an owl. And he weighted under 22 lbs.)
