Prick tiny bits of gunk from nasty places with these U.S. made hardened stainless steel dental tools. But please don't use them for dental work. They are slight seconds, and some may have been re-worked which only matters to teeth. Trim excess glue from models, place a barrel on the deck of the ship-in-a-bottle, clean a rasp. If you need the strength and durability in a tiny pick, you need these tools. We have an assortment of the sort you've seen laid out on your dentist's tray. We'll pick (3) different ones for you.

Gadgeteers, get out your charge card. This is an instrument you absolutely have to own. It reaches down below sofa cushions, inside piggy banks, into fish tanks, and past a gallbladder. Not simultaneously, of course. The slim stainless steel alligator forceps is 10-1/4" long OA, with a 3" angled handle and an 7-3/4" reach. It has small 3/4" long tapered serrated jaws that measure approx. 1/8" wide x 3/16" at the largest and open to a max width of approx 3/8" or 10mm, in a delicate but tight fashion at the tip! Better buy an extra. We guarantee people are going to "borrow" these if they see them.

And then give us a little tweeze, and a couple more for luck. Our 4-piece stainless steel tweezer set includes: 4-5/8" long bent tweezers; 4-1/2” fine point; 4-5/8” cross-locks; and 4-1/4” blunt-tip stamp tweezers with 1/4” wide tips for you philatelists.

This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Two of the tweezers have serrated tips one is inverse, one has a slide latch and the others are straight flat tip. The set comes in a clear front plastic carrying case. Good for model cars, planes or hard to reach splinters.

Fire away! No reason to cringe with this control tip syringe (our terrible rhymes, on the other hand…). Seriously, though, it’s easy to give something your best shot with this comfy (2) finger-hole-and-thumbhole grip. Syringe is 6-1/2" long x 5/8" dia., transparent plastic and has a male Luer Lock fitting suitable for anything that has a threaded female Luer Lock fitting to screw into it or use it without. The thumb-powered plunger is white with standard black rubber seal. Great for glues, oils and the likes. Who knew injection could be so sexy? Capacity is 6ml, or 6cc, graduated in 0.2ml increments. Also great to work it into a costume, or Halloween decor. 

These're pleasing tweezers, these are. They're clever cross-lock tweezers, 6" long with wood-grain grips and 1/2" long, serrated 90° jaws that grip tightly. The handy cross-locks will lay flat on their backs to hold stuff, like wires, while you solder.

Hey, there’s two words you don’t see next to each other that often: comfy hemostat. This one feels really nice in the fingers because of its black, rubber-coated handle. The whole stainless-steel tool is about 7-1/2" long with a 7/8” tip and big round finger holes. Locking the teeth keeps it clamped on its own. Also, as a bonus, just past the jaws lies a bladed suture scissor section, wow, that's convenient! This is a sturdy piece. Use it to hold something in place.

You pick from our straight or curved locking-jaw forceps, both with rubber-dipped handles and jaws for extra-gentle applications. Measure 5-1/2" long with 1-1/4" long jaws.

A variety of shapes and ugliness, though no unbroken tips. Some single ended, some double. Super for all manner of hobbyism, except for do-it-yourself-dentistry. Excellent price in today's weakened dollar market. All stainless steel.

Hemostats are the clamplike devices dangling from veins and arteries in melodramatic operating scenes. Our particular collection are Pakistani surgical-grade instruments made of magnetic stainless steel. As such we rate them pretty good, but not fantastic. Hemostats look like little pliers. The jaws are relatively fine, with rounded tips. The inside faces are lightly serrated to get a grip on tubing or body plumbing. And the handles are much longer than the jaws. Now the heavenly part. Great hobby clamps that can be worked into small areas. Fine heat sinks for electronics. Good hook extractors for trout fisherpeople. Excellent tubing clamps for flow-sensitive chemistry experiments. Sizes are approximate length.

Our humongotweezer special is a twofer: (1) pair of straight steel tweezers at 12" long and another pair, the same, but with a 30-degree curve at the business end--both with smooth, un-grooved tips. Great for lab work or delicate grilling operations.

Just because hospitals toss 'em after one use doesn't mean you should. These are sterile scalpels, and they're ultra-handy in the shop or craft room. Measure 6" long with snap-off blade shields. You pick #10 with a rounded profile or #11 with pointed blades

Try plastic tweezers. Joke. But you do need this pair of 5" long plastic tweezers, with serrated jaws and tips that taper to 1/16" wide points, for electronics applications (no fear of magnetization). The plastic tweezers are safer for kids' crafts classes and school projects, too, and mighty affordable at less than 45 cents each. Yours could be red or blue because they're assorted. 

For those little surgical jobs: little forceps. Try these 3-1/2" long stainless steel straight forceps with 3/4" long striated jaws. Lock positions: "Tight" and "Yikes!"

Whatever you call them they are super handy. Used for suturing, these are carbon-steel straight-locking needle holders, 5” long with narrow serrated 7/16” tips. And yes, you’re permitted to use them for other stuff if you’re not a surgeon. (Or even if you are a surgeon, actually.)

A Gamecock is a bird, and a fine one at that, but we don’t have any of those. We do have (2) kinds of stopcocks, though. They’re valves used to control the flow of liquids or gasses, fluids—stuff like that. You’d know ’em to see ’em. Slightly different valves, both of which will accept 1/4" id tubing and have (1) input and (2) outputs. Originally for Veterinary usage, they are plastic, and you’ll get (5) no matter which kind you order.

Translucent plastic, no-needle syringes. You pick! (8-pack of 1ml/cc, 4" long in .01 increments) or (6-pack of 5ml/cc, 3" long in 1ml increments) or (30cc / 1 oz. Measures 5-1/2” long compressed x 3/4” dia with an offset 1/16” ID outlet) or the assorted (8-Pack 2-each of 1,2,3,5 ml w/varying increments) Handy in the lab, workshop, kitchen and craft room, but you could also attach one of these to the head of your favorite teddy bear and have a furry with a syringe on top. (We’re sorry. We couldn’t stop ourselves.)

We made up the name. These plastic tweezers have lightly serrated open loops in a teardrop shape, 9/16" x 3/8", on the grabbing end. Might be tissue tweezers for a lab, but we like them for gripping beads, eggs (to color), electronic parts, sushi, eyeballs, escargot, olives and immobilizing gerbil's heads to get their attention. Normally 1", the jaws can be opened much wider. Measure 4-7/8" long. Plenty cheap.
