We have very, very, very assorted (new) blank circuit boards ranging from 6" x 6" down to 1" x 1", and we’ll send you (10) of them with our greatest intentions of giving you at least (5) different kinds. In assorted colors but mostely classic circuit-board-green-and-metallic, they were originally intended for kids’ robotic toys and games. Now you can use this dream assortment for soldering practice, one-of-a-kind art pieces, home décor (if science is your thing as much as it is ours), and probably about a hundred other things we’re not thinking of. Measures 5" x 3" x 2-1/4" tall, with a 6-foot cord that plugs into the wall and a 2-foot grounded female plug for your sewing machine, rotary tool, scroll saw, or, if you really make a lot of banana Daiquiris, blender.

You into vintage TV vacuum tubes in their original boxes? Us, too. We’ve got so many of them, in so many types and sizes, we’ll send you (5) different per order. It's a crap shoot of a deal though. Normally special orders don't upset us, but this time we’re not BK. Sorry, no special requests. We’ll close our eyes, reach into the bin and pull out the first (5) assorted we can get our hands around. We’ve got an eclectic mix of electronic and radionic tubes from brands like RCA, Slyvania, Raytheon, Standard Brand, Philco, Westinghouse, GE, Tung-Sol and Lindal. And they all look super-cool. Hey, DIYers—put a little light on the subject! With our assorted 12VDC infrared LED panels, you can light up, well, too many things to mention. Panels (and naturally their corresponding LED light grids), each assembly is approx 3” x 2” to 2” x 1”. Some have leads, others don’t. Some need soldering, others don’t. Some lights are white, others are amber. You’ll get what you get without throwing a fit—and then you’ll turn it into something excellent like you always do. Send us pics.

Okay, they’re just strips of metal, but CJ says one of each and a grapefruit will get you at least a “C” at the science fair. The copper electrode is 100mm long x 18mm wide  x .8mm thick (3.94" x .7" x .041”). The zinc electrode is 4” long x 3/4” wide x .027” thick and stamped “ZN”. And both of them are awfully useful for crafters and jewelry makers, too.

Rated for 10A at 250VAC, these normally closed thermal fuses will pop at 128ºC or 262ºF. The fuses themselves are 1/2" long but yours will be wired into leads of assorted lengths, because they were betooken out of coffeemakers of some sort. Never been popped, though, because then they would be useless and who'd buy 'em?

Elenco resistor and capacitor combo kit. Resistors come in 73 values and (5) of each value. Capacitors total 100 pieces in 21 different values. This is a great kit to have around as the components are in zipseal bags, and in a nice storage box, with all the values on the box. Another great Elenco item.

It’d be a siren, if you had this handy device, which is, coincidentally, a 12VDC electronic siren from Orevox. Measures 4" x 4" x 2" in white plastic with (1) red wire, (1) yellow wire, and (1) black wire, each 9” long. Part # R-35WS. Why do you need a siren? Hey, that’s up to you. If people didn’t need them, they wouldn’t make them.

Ok, we have to come clean here. We do not know a lot about these circuit boards. They have an 8-Segment LED displays and switches, ribbon cable and assorted components. What we do know is they are takeouts from AC units and may very slightly from the photo. So look at the photo, order some, and go make something.

This 4" x 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" medical take-out air sensor has (3) ports coming off the main 3-1/8" x 3/4" ID chamber, (2) leading to one sensor and the other leading to a second one, then through circuitry on a mounted PC  board leading to a 10-pin output connector. Also has a PCB-mounted 3V coin cell battery. The sensors have input, output and trigger voltage and a voltage output, but we have no specs. Nice parts and pieces, though.

Our inline filter helps rid your AC line of EMI and spikes. Rated for up to 16A at 250VAC. Has quick-disconnect terminals for the line and lead sides. Schematic is on the 1-1/2" x 1-3/8" x 1-5/8" housing.

The USB is here to stay. Admit it and lose the adapters. Take out one of your standard wall plugs and wire in this double USB outlet with a regular, 3-prong grounded outlet below. The USBs are 2.1 amp chargers. Measures 2-1/2” tall x 1-3/8” and fits standard single-socket wall outlets. This is the future. From GE.

Here are some options to pick from. The Bimba stainless steel air cylinder measures 5” long x 3/4” dia with 5” stroke. Has a 1/4”-28 x 1/2” long threaded rod with a 3/4” stroke, and a nose mount that's 5/8”-18. Double-acting so it will push/pull. They're used take-outs, Bimba part #53E743. The Festo stainless steel air cylinder is double-acting—push/pull. New, Festo model DO-12-74-PP-SA, with 10-32 ports with adapters to 1/16" hosebarbs. Bore: 12 mm (0.472"). Stroke is 2-3/4". Retracted length is 6-3/4" end-to-end. Max 116 PSI.

This remote VGA receiver measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" x 1-3/16" and is made to use with the NTI CAT5 VGA remote system which allows VGA and sound info to be transferred up to 600 feet on a CAT5 cable. Don't have the system? Pop the rivets on the bottom and you've got a dandy project case, a PCB-mount 5.5mm barrel plug and 1/8" audio jack plus whatever you can strip from the PCB board.

With this 1.2K OHM 10% tolerance power resistor. Rated 3 to 5 watts, it has a ceramic block body 3/8" sq x 1-1/2" long with wire leads on ends, one of which is 1/2" long and the other 1-1/2". Any questions?

This chassis-mounted in-line EMI filter from Schaffner (model #FN2020-3-06) accepts up to 3A at 110/250VAC. Unit measures 1-3/4" x 1-5/16" x 1-3/16" with (2) 3/16" mounting holes on side wings. Has 1/4" quick-disconnect terminals and has a wiring diagram on the housing. UL/CSA.

Our VP for Sensing Fluid Pressure called this sensor from Kavlico “sweet.” Needs a 5VDC 20mW power source, and will likely put out 0-4VDC, contingent on pressure, from 0-5"/H2O max, we’d say. Measures 1-5/16" x 17/32" on a pair of 7/8" long 5/32" slotted mounting wings. The upper 3/16" OD barb is the low side, and the lower is (ironically) high. Has a 3-pin connector with legend on the back for power and output. Call for a data sheet.

These high-end valve assemblies are medical take-outs from Lee Industries, but that’s all we know except that they look really expensive and fancy and high-quality, and are probably worth much more than we’re selling them for. Each has a 3VDC 275mA 2-phase stepper motor into a 5-250uL valve housing with a 5-pin connector that hooks up to (3) Omron infrared-based photomicro sensors. There’s what looks like a 4-pin encoder on top, as well as a 1/16” barb. Lee part # LPVX0520750CA.
