Porcelain mortars and pestles. Great heavy duty mortars, with sides that are easily 5/16" thick on the smaller ones, and up to 1/2" on the larger. The mortars are glazed outside, but rough inside, the better to grind, and have a pouring lip. The business ends of the pestles are unglazed, while the shafts are glazed. Very functional, very good looking!! So grind your own spices, fresh herbs or lab concoctions as you prefer. You get a mortar and pestle as a single order.

In the lab or kitchen, these clear borosilicate glass mugs have a handle and lip and remind you that science is part of your every day. The smaller 4-1/2" 400mL one has graduations in 50mL increments and the larger 6" 1000mL one in 100mL increments with numeric markings every 100mL or 200mL accordingly; both with more room before you have to worry about spilling. May come with a pour spout on the side opposite the handle which won't affect your beverage consumption but will make it easier to water your favorite house plant. Not intended for serious lab use as the volumes are approximate. Remember to ask for 236.5ml of coffee the next time you visit your favorite diner.

Eye dropper, tongue dropper, test tube dropper, petri dish dropper, anywhere dropper. Use this 3" glass dropper, with a rubber squeeze bulb to drop small amounts of liquid wherever you think they should go. You will have to measure by counting drops, though, because there are no markings on it. Also, it is called "3" because that is about how long the glass tube is. Overall, it is 4" long.

A great find: sterile plastic petri dishes, 90mm dia x 15mm deep, with a loose fitting lid. Great for growing cultures for your science fair experiments, as individual pancake storage cases or for mixing paint. Our each is (25) dishes and lids in a sealed, sterile package.

So we're pricing these borosilicate boiling flasks to move quickly. We've got (3) sizes, all with slightly flattened bottoms, each with a single, discreet, capacity mark in white. While the actual physical size can vary slightly, the volume remains the same. The 1000ml flask is 9-5/8" tall OA x 5-5/8" dia with a 1-5/16" ID mouth, and a lip. Takes a #7 rubber stopper. The 500ml flask is 6-7/8" tall OA x 4-1/8" dia with a 1-3/16" ID mouth, and a lip. Takes a #6-1/2 rubber stopper, but a #7 will work. The 250ml flask is 6-1/8" tall OA x 3-3/8" dia with a 1-1/32" ID mouth, and a lip. Takes a #5-1/2 rubber stopper, but a #6 will do the job.

You pick small, medium or large borosilicate reagent bottles, all with ground glass stopper. Small is 60ml, 3-5/8" tall x 1-5/8" dia with a 7/8" long neck and a 1/2" ID mouth. Medium is 125ml, 4-3/4" tall x 2-1/8" dia with a 1" tall neck and an 11/16" ID mouth. Large is 250ml, 5-3/8" tall x 2-3/4" dia with a 1" long neck and a nearly 3/4" ID mouth. Made in India.

Rejoice, we have finally found a source of reasonably priced borosilicate lab glassware. This is the kind of glass in the trade marked Pyrex(tm) and Kimax(tm) labware. The stuff you can put right over the flame of the Bunsen burner, or directly onto the hot plate. This stuff is imported from China, and is considered student grade, which is good enough for anything but the most exotic applications. We have beakers, test tubes, graduated cylinders and flasks. Know any science geeks who love a good cup of Joe? As usual we've got you covered. This 500ml Erlenmeyer flask coffee mug is made of borosilicate glass and is graduated up to 400ml. Has a handy handle and makes a sweet gift for the overcaffeinated.

Hard polypropylene beakers, milky white with a fine pouring spout. No good for flames, but great for low-temp lab applications. Also useful in the kitchen, the garage, or (the big one especially) as a plant watering can.

It looks as though it should be used for administering laudanum! A 30mL, 1-1/4" sq x 3" tall clear glass bottle, it has thick molded sides and a heavy lip: very antique in appearance. It is stoppered with a red(!) rubber stopper which is the squeeze bulb for the glass dropper tube inside. A real eye catcher, but give it a good wash please. It clearly is not sterile.

Polypropylene beakers times five. This  nesting set of beakers, think matryoshka nesting dolls, includes a 50ml (marked in 5ml increments) beaker 2-1/8" tall x 2", a 100ml (5ml incr) 2-3/8" x 2-3/8", a 250ml (10ml incr) 3-7/8" x 3-1/4", a 500ml (10ml incr) 4-5/8"x 4", and a 1000ml (25ml incr) 5-3/4" x 4-7/8", all with lips and pouring spouts. Done with science for the day? Turn them over and stack them like a tower.

These clear plastic test tubes hold 10ml and measure 101mm (4") long x 16mm (5/8") dia and come with matching #5 corks. You'll receive a handy package of (10) which is enough for a ROY G. These blue glass dropper bottles are the color of the cold cream bottles that everybody's mother used when everybody's mother used cold cream. Measure 3-1/8" tall x 1-15/16" dia and hold (1) oz. Plastic safety dropper cap is 2-3/8" tall and marked at 0.4 and 0.8ml.
