You know those black steel binder clips that hold stacks of paper together and are as ubiquitous in office settings as bitter gossip? These 1-1/4” wide clips are like those, except made of 30mm wire instead of solid steel, and all gold instead of black and silver. In other words, they’re fit for a king or queen, aka your boss. But we’d rather you have them. Power to the people!

Here’s a very tasteful notebook and pen combo from Callaway golf, which chose to lightly brand the notebook with small logos on the bottoms of pages, and a tiny, impressed logo on the back cover. Surplus dealers appreciate this sort of corporate self-effacement. Has something over 60 sheets, lined on both sides with a date line at the top. Measures 6” x 5” with leatherlike black covers with a gray accent, one pocket on the inside cover, and a slot holding a ballpoint pen. Nice gift classy box, too. Surplus Alert: These sets come with a twist retractable ballpoint pen that will likely be all dried up.

We don’t care who you are or what you do, everybody needs a reliable supply of binder clips, paper clips and push pins. We tugged and pulled on one of these nickel-plated looseleaf binder rings for five minutes before realizing you push the loop halves sideways to open them. So yeah, they’re not budging unless you want them to. These (50) “highest quality” #7 rings are 2-3/8” dia and suitable for keys, samples, invoices and swatches, as well as looseleaf paper. Not for use in bull noses. They’re strong, but come on.

It doesn’t stain when you spill your latte on it. You pick from our selection of plastic (polypropylene) three-ring binders with 1-1/2” rings, measuring 11-3/4” x 10-1/4”. You choose berry, lime-ish green, or Wedgwoody blue (Teal to those without an art degree.) with 1/16” thick covers.

Remember your uncle who played the accordion?
