A better magnifier from Vivitar® with a 2-1/2” dia, 2.5X acrylic lens surrounded by (6) white LEDs. Measures just over 7” long, and a thumb switch on the 4” long handle lets you switch from low to high power. You add a pair of “AA” batteries and you’re in business.
Like a switchblade, but optical. Push the button on this 2” x 1” x 1/14” black plastic case and watch a 3/4” dia approx 10X acrylic loupe pop out, ready to rumble. If the Sharks or Jets squared off against the West Side Antique Dealers or Stamp Collectors….
This mighty-mite of a magnifier had just 1" dia lens in curved 4” x 1-1/8” x 3/8” thick matte black plastic handle, but magnifies a big 8X, and has a switchable UV and white LED the better to see stuff with. Includes replaceable button cell batteries and a little pouch.
Like bears, but in magnifying glasses. Our each is a trio of Sherlockian magnifiers in chrome-plated steel: one at 5X, 1-5/8” dia on a 2-3/4" handle; one at approx 4.5X, 2" dia on a 2-3/4" handle; and one at approx 2.5X, 3” dia on a 3-3/8” handle. Crime-solving for the whole family.
US Navy Mk8 Mod8 gunsight reticle. In classic "ladder" pattern. Came to us in a lot of antique 1940's Eastman Kodak Military grade lenses and reticles. This unit was part of an illuminated cannon sight or gunsight. Might be a bit dusty or tarnished, but still looks pretty good for their age.
