The correct answer is "I don't know; I've never toggled." If, however, you just want to turn something on and off, here's a choice of toggles for your switching delectation. The DPDT toggle is rated for up to 20A at 125VAC and has screw terminals below. Measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". No center-off position. The first DPST toggle is rated for 20A at 125VAC or 15A at 250VAC. Screw terminals on the bottom. Measures 1-5/16" x 3/4". The smaller DPST toggle is rated for up to 4A at 125VAC or 2A at 250VAC. Has 3/16" spade terminals on the bottom and measures 1" X 9/16". All the toggles come with switch-plates and mounting nuts.

What we have here is a bunch of toggle switches rated at 20A, 12VDC (Max) with LED lights in their tips so you can tell when your rockets are hot and ready to launch. On/off 2-position standard size toggles, SPST. with a 12mm neck and mounting nuts. We've matched each with a classic flip up cover so all your friends at the airfield will think you are cool. Switch measures 1" x 9/16" x 1-1/8" overall with cover 2" x 1-3/4" x 9/16". Each has (3) spade terminal connectors, (2) are switch contacts and third is to power LED. Already have some toggles to cover? Pick-up the (2) packs of opaque plastic ones in carbon fiber-pattern or solid red.

We thought power corrupts, but it turns out otherwise. Power locks. You could put these in a car door, or think up something really kinetically clever. These brand new 12VDC door lock actuator assemblies draw 2.6A pushing or pulling with a 5/8" throw. Measures 6-3/8" overall, 3-3/4" from the tip to the right-angle gear motor, which extends 1-5/16" out from the 1-3/16" thick body. Top has a removable plastic ring, the shaft is covered by a rubber boot and the bottom has 7-1/2" leads with bullet connectors. Comes with an eight-hole 8-7/8" x 9/16" steel mounting bracket, a 8-3/4" rod and assorted screws and mounting hardware.

These large momentary SPDT push-button switches are rated 10A at 125/250VAC and are mounted to a 2-7/16"dia lens plate with a 1-1/8" long x 15/16 - 2 shaft that comes with a plastic washer and nut. There's also an internal 12V 3W replaceable indicator bulb. Needs 3" of rear clearance. You pick a red, green or yellow lens.

This 5-pin socket is already wired with 9" leads in black, red, white, yellow and blue to its quick-disconnect sockets, ready for your 1/4" or 7mm spade terminals. Measures 1-1/4" x 1-1/16" x 1" thick. Matches our 94746 relay.

Perhaps a switch in time won't save nine, but if you keep getting caught without the goods, and have to rush off to the local high priced supplier, we can help. Of our assortment of (10) switches, (at least (5) different) should have the answer to a wide variety of needs. It contains an assortment which may include toggles, rockers, rotarys or slide switches in a variety of sizes. Chances are you can find what you need, or at least something that will serve. Try it!!

In the universe of reed switches, we're assured that this one is quite snazzy. In a 1" x 9/16" x 3/8" housing with a  3/8" mounting wing with (2) 3/32" mounting holes. Trigger distance is approx 1" regardless of magnet strength. Comes with 20" tinned leads. Rated for 400mA at 24VDC. Normally open.

Like Mighty Mouse, here we come to save the day! Try this 110V 24W Normally Closed solenoid control valve. Has a 1/2” ID and a 7/16" OD outlet with a side feeder that may come with a foot or so of 3/16” ID tubing. Unit itself measures 4" x 3" x 2-1/2" with a pair of 1/8" mounting holes. Great for all kinds of DIY projects.

From Broan-NuTone®, these rocker switches are rated for up to 15A per switch, 20A altogether. Fit standard, single-gang electrical boxes and come with switch plates, screws and wiring instructions. You’ll need a grounded box. UL.

This take-out solenoid valve is a simple open/closed solenoid valve that is normally closed. It draws 100mA at 12VDC. Has 3/16" OD inlet and outlet at right angles to each other. Housing measures 1-3/16" long x 15/16" dia with terminals at the back end.

This momentary rocker switch is just 3/4" x 9/16" x 9/16" deep with 1/8" quick-disconnect terminals at the bottom. It's rated for up to 15A at 125VAC, 7.5A at 250VAC and is normally open. UL.

These momentary SPST push-button switches are normally open and measure 11/16" dia x just over 3/16" thick and have a 15/32" shaft with a steel lock-washer & nut plus a pair of 1/8" solder terminals on the bottom. Rated 3A at 125VAC or 1A at 250VAC. You pick red, green or yellow.

These SPDT momentary rocker switches from Otto® have (3) 1/4” quick-disconnect terminals and panel-mounting tabs. Measure 1-1/8” deep x 1” x 3/8” and are rated for 10.1A at 125VAC. UL/CSA. On-Off-On.

This 24VAC 6VA electro-pneumatic valve from Siemens USA, #265-1027, has three barbed plastic tube connections- normally open, normally closed and a common for 1/4" OD tubing and is rated for a max of 50psi. Commonly used to alternately apply pressure to and exhaust pressure from pneumatically controlled devices, but we're sure you'll find a clever way to use them in your weekend project. Measures just over 2" x 1-1/2" x 1" and is mounted on a 2-7/8" x 3/4" bracket with 3/16" mounting holes and 9" leads. UL.

Nice dual-slide dimmer switch, rated for up 700W and with precise adjustment for full-range lighting levels. In white plastic and with an integrated 4-3/4” x 3” wall plate. Because of the tabs and slide channels below, the whimsical among us will discover that a pair of small googly eyes at the top will transform this electric switch into a wall walrus.

And hey there, missus, too. This wired thermistor is a take-out from unused humidifier equipment. Has 10K Ohm resistance, which goes down as the temp goes up. Includes 39” leads, and measures 1-3/16” long x 1/4” dia thermistor.

This little solenoid air valve requires 220mA at 24VDC and is normally closed. Working pressure is 6 psi. The inlet and outlet are 3/16" OD x 3/32" ID x 1/4" long at right angles to each other. Comes with 6" leads with a Molex connector. Part #AJK-F0507.

We relay like this Schneider Electric solid-state relay, which is rated at 32VDC with a 24-280VAC 10A load. This little device has lots of nice features, including an optically coupled circuit to provide isolation between input and output, an internal snubber to protect from high voltage transients, and an internal heat sink for thermal management. All in a slim package with no mechanical parts, for longer reliability and silent operation. Operating temps are -30C to +80C. CIP rating: IP20, Series 861.
