Get The HookThis one will do, particularly if you’re hanging up something substantial, and you need a hook that looks sort of like a question mark. Brass-plated steel, 4-3/4” long with a 1” ID and made from 3/8” stock. The last 2-1/4” have a 3/8-16 thread waiting for a nut you could find in any hardware store.
Hang it all with this set of (10) magnetic hooks. The 1-3/16" long x 9/64" hooks screw into 1-3/8" dia magnetic bases with an approx 8-lb pull, which is lighter than most jackets and keys. Good for horizontal or vertical mounts, and dandy for adding hooks to gym or school lockers.
Now you can have a good, strong hook without drilling any holes. This plated magnetic hook sticks to any ferrous metal surface via a 2" dia alnico magnet with a 10-12 pound pull. Handy gadget to hold a tool, towel, broom or key ring (and if the ring is too heavy, consider throwing away the keys to your 1983 Chevy, and maybe a few more). The 3/4" long J-hooks have threaded ends and are removable. Our each is a package of (2).
A rubber grommet, 7/8" dia x 11/16" thick, with a brass insert that forms a flange over one face and lines about 3/4" of the length of the 1/4" dia bore. Use it as a grommet, a shock mount, or both. With a brass wire hanger that is set under the insert flange and extends 1" to the side. The hanger is bent to hold a 1/4" dia wire.
Brass L-shaped shoulder hooks (Why aren’t they elbow hooks?) are handy to have around. Each has a thread about half as long as the hook itself, and a small plate that fits against the wall. You get (2) packages, for a total of (6) 1” hooks, or (4) 1–1/2” hooks.
These standard pegboard hooks fit, wait for it, standard pegboards, with 1” spacing on the legs, and made of 7/32” steel. Not really hooks, these are the long straight thingies with a slight upward angle to approx the last 3/4”. You pick the 3-1/2” long or the 5-1/2” long ones. Very handy in pantries, basements and garages. And isn't it time you finished that organizing project from last year?
1-7/8" dia. green, brown or orange hard plastic balls with a 1-1/4" ID x 1-1/2" deep hole on one side. Use them as slippery chair feet, as knobs on the ends of levers or tops of canes or even as protective caps for sharp pole ends. The tapered inner veins will provide a tight friction fit. You get an assortment of colors.
This zinc-plated carbon steel clevis grab hook is rated Grade 43 with a 2,600-lb load limit (that's about a Mini Cooper hatchback). Measures 3" long x 1-7/8" at the wide part x 1/2" at the thick part, with a 3/8" axle held with a cotter pin. Clearance from hood to axle is also 3/8".
Pulleys? You need pulleys? Step right up and pick from our selection of single-sheave zinc-plated steel pulleys, mounted on swivel hooks with the axles held in by a cotter pin for easier rigging. That flat-screen TV you paid a fortune for has been sitting on a coffee table long enough. Time to wall-mount it like all the television sets on television shows. This flat-to-the-wall mount holds 32” to 50” sets up to 132 lbs, and will sit a smidgen over 1/2” from the wall.
A fatal yoga position? Crocodile moves? Nope, just a shiny steel snap hook, 3-1/2" long with a 3/8" ID, attached to a 3/4” ID swivel, the better to hook your keys on whatever you hook your keys on.
