This gusseted, white plastic tote bag measures 17" x 16" x 4” with handles approx 12” long and has, for reasons unclear, a front that mimics a doctor's jacket with a stethoscope hanging around the neck of the bag. Ignore the faux medical-ness and just treat it like any other handy, waterproof plastic tote at a ridiculously low price. Or, go around telling people you’re in med school.

Direct from our faithful hospital supply suppliers--handy dandy (and brand new) tubs for storing, sorting, scrubbing, or schlepping toys, mittens, craft supplies, chicken feed, whatever. In assorted colors and made of pretty-much-indestructible #5 plastic, each is approx 13" x 10" x 5" deep. (Some might be a tad smaller). They have lips and rounded ends, nest when not in use, and are graduated inside from 2 to 6 quarts.

Who doesn’t love a nice round tin? Ours is 3-1/2" dia x 2" tall in assorted colors—matte paint on the outside and shiny white on the inside. Each tin also has a clear plastic lid so you can see what you’ve tinned away. As colorful tins go, these are some mighty nice ones.

We have a red, cube-ish glass, 2-1/2" tall x 3" square glass votive candle holder that can do things other votive candle holders can’t hold a candle to. Though these containers glow nicely with a flickering flame inside, they’re also tall enough to hold a stash of paper clips, writing utensils, tacks, coins, stamps or any other little things you want to store in style.

You surely have some cool purses but this one’s cooler—because it’s actually a cooler. From Buringer, it looks like a nice, casual purse to us, with gray and white horizontal stripes and thick, comfortable brown handles. Insulated, with a space-age shiny silver inside and double zippers on top, it measures approx 11” wide x 7” tall. Use it to keep your lunch fresh or keep a few drinks cool without being obvious about it.

These nice clear glass jars hold 240ml (a tad more than 8 oz) and measure 4” tall x 2-1/4” square, with rounded corners and shoulders. Screw cap is a dark olive green. Opening ID is 1-3/4”. Line 'em up and put spices in them, is what we think. Also great for craft supplies like glitter, beads and rubber bands, and workshop essentials, like screws, nuts and washers.

Grip® brand water-resistant utility boxes are inspired by military ammo cans, but in a long-lasting polymer instead of steel, and in mini sizes. These are 8-1/2” long x 4-1/2” wide x 6-1/2” tall, hinged on a short side. They have a folding handle on top, a secure locking latch, and an O-ring gasket to make them water-resistant. Great for cell phones and other small electronics, wallets, cash, lunch, our Virgil Trucks rookie card—stuff like that.

Jarvis Says: The box will be classic black 99% of the time, but we have seen the stray blue or neon green one in the past.

Surplus! These (former) promo items are 5" tall golf bags, mostly clear with primary color accents. Best of all? No logos! Golfers use them to store (3) balls. There’s also an outside pocket for pencils, tees and ball makers, and that pocket is zippered just like the main compartment is. Each bag has a plastic snap clip so you can hang it from something—like an actual golf bag. But you don’t have to use it for golf. In assorted primary colors. Ours samples were blue and green, but there may be others and we'll pick the best color to match your golf cart.

Call it the bag of a lesser messenger. This dark olive Extreme Pak™ tote looks like a mini-backpack but has a shoulder strap plus a pair of handles. Measures approx 11-1/2" tall x 8-1/2" wide x 6" deep front to back, it's got a big inside zippered compartment, a smaller zippered pouch on the bottom, a pair of hook-and-loop closed pockets on the top, plus a plethora (that'd be 10) of band loops to hang stuff off. Mfg suggested retail is over $30. Just saying.

This one measures 5" x 4" x 2" (4-1/2" x 3-1/2" 1-1/4" inside) in heavy plastic, and is weatherproof with a pair of gutsy 1" dia, 20-lb pull magnets on top. Hide keys, cash, the title to the Maserati or whatever stash you're stashing inside, and stick it on any ferrous surface for safe-keeping. Has (3) removable dividers on the long axis inside. Manufacturer says it's air-tight and will keep regular or 100mm cigarettes fresh, but your significant other is going to catch you anyway, ace.

Eye dropper, tongue dropper, test tube dropper, petri dish dropper, anywhere dropper. Use this 3" glass dropper, with a rubber squeeze bulb to drop small amounts of liquid wherever you think they should go. You will have to measure by counting drops, though, because there are no markings on it. Also, it is called "3" because that is about how long the glass tube is. Overall, it is 4" long.

Portion of what? Indeed. Portion cups are assorted sizes, but always smallish and used for condiments, sauces, cole slaw, samples, like that, but you can use them for anything in the world of arts, crafts, hobbying, model-making and DIY-ing. You’re creative--we don’t need to tell you. Each translucent white plastic cup holds (4) oz and is 3-3/4" dia at the top x 1-5/8” deep with a white snap-on lid. Think: little tub of cream cheese. Oh, you can picture them now.

The smartest among us in these days of closed bars and bites as far as the eye can see will carry a little hip flask for emergencies. This one is a standard 8-ouncer in stainless steel with a matte black finish. Measures 5-3/4" x 3-1/2" x 1" thick, and given the number of emergencies you could encounter, we recommend a pair because, after all, you do have two hips.

And trained artisans are carving their fingers to nubbins keeping us supplied with clever wooden boxes with hidden compartments. They’re made with no dyes, paints or stains and only from hardwoods—primarily ebony, rosewood, birch, beech, and boxwood—and using only hand tools. Pull the secret pin and find the velveteen cranny for your secret stuff. You pick: the Butterfly box; the Heart and Angel box; the Standing Angel box, or the Cross and Bible box.

These little roll-on colbalt blue glass bottles hold 15ml (0.03 oz) of whatever you want to roll on, but they’re typically used for essential oils, massage oils and aromatherapy. Measure 3-3/4" tall x 7/8" dia in dark blue for UV protection. The steel roller ball is embedded in a plastic collar which can be removed for filling by popping the nib off the bottle.. Closes with a black screw cap. Maren says she’s going to fill hers with love potion #9.

Even though this bright orange fabric tote would be right at home in a construction zone, save it for shopping, picnicking and tailgating at Syracuse, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma State, Boise State and Oregon State games (and yes, we know there are more). Measures 15-1/2” x 14-1/2” with a 3” gusset, and zippered pockets inside and out. Has a snap closure on main compartment and a carry handle. Fabric is soft and lightweight, with an almost rubbery feel, and it’s lined on the inside. Pat ran it under the sink and water beaded up on the surface without being absorbed. Just sayin’. Go Orange, Tigers, Gators, Cowboys, Broncos, Beavers, etc.

Not even Todd Rundgren fans will want to bang on this drum, but it’ll keep your food and drinks cool, though, because it’s a foam-insulated soft bag cooler with a double-zippered main compartment approx 11-1/2” dia, (2) deep, double-zippered side pockets with netting-sleeves, and (1) tighter zippered compartment on the front. Stands about 12” tall and 16” wide overall, and comes with a padded, adjustable shoulder strap. We tested it for leakage and it held water, unlike most of our arguments. In festive red with black accents.

In several senses. These snazzy cigarette cases are made for the original, unfiltered short smokes (or roll-ups) and measure 3-1/2" square x 3/4" deep, or 3/8” deep per side when open, with those little elastic keeper bands. Quite suitable for carrying other stuff like business and debit cards, cash and bus passes. Plus, they make you feel like William Powell or Myrna Loy, depending. In gray, black, and zebra, all with an acrylic mirror on one side and a push-button latch. We’ll pick, cuz they’re all Thin-Man stylish.
