These ball casters are great swivelers and quite snazzy looking, too. Seen on your better chairs everywhere. These are brass plated, 2-1/2" dia on 1-1/2" square mounting plates with 3/16" holes at the corners.
Our 4" dia swivel-stem casters have 3/4" wide dual black-plastic wheels and 1" steel stems with 1/2" - 13 threads. Available with or without a foot-operated lock No weight limit listed, but they're pretty sturdy, and pretty snazzy, at least to the extent that casters admit of snazziness.
Or gear down-for the science fair or for any number of hobby projects. This hard-to-find set of (3) combination spur/beveled gears-for when you want gears set either straight or at 90° to one another-also has one small spur gear, plus three bushings. All in red, green, or blue plastic (we'll pick). The combo-beveled gears are 1-5/8", 1-1/4" and 27/32" dia with 3/16" bores to accept the bushings, which are 3/16" OD, 3/32" ID. The straight gear is 17/32" dia with a 1/16" half-bore. All are 24 pitch.

You pick: the sleeved bearing, sometimes listed as a "special agricultural bearing," is a single race radial bearing, 1-9/16" OD x 5/8" ID x 3/4" with a black plastic sleeve surrounding it, measuring 1-13/16" x 1" with a 1/16" wall; the booted bearing measures 1-1/2" OD x just shy of 11/16" ID x 1/2" thick, inside a 1-13/16" black rubber boot with a removable hex ID bushing.
Our each is (10) feet of #420 roller chain with a 1/2" pitch at 1/4" wide. Pre-stretched and heat-treated, and includes a master link. Rated for a 3600-lb load. This size is used with a lot of minibike and go-kart drives.
Interesting concentric sealed bearing, like a pillow block, from Hub City. The outer portion measures 52mm dia x 15mm thick with an anti-rotation pin, and the inner measures 34mm dia x 12mm thick with a 22mm ID bore and (2) 3mm setscrews.
If these were full-size, car guys would put them on restored ’57 Bel Airs and low riders. These 6” dia solid rubber wheels are gray with (5) treads on 1-7/8” wide tires. Mounted on a 4” dia aluminum rim with dual 9/16” ID bearings with a loose bushing between them. One side has a nearly 1-3/4” dia hub that protrudes approx 3/16”; the other bearing is recessed by 3/8”.
For your riding comfort, this 9-5/8" dia x 3" wide pneumatic tire has a plastic hub, rubber treads and a 25psi inner tube. Has a 1/2” ID with a 1-1/4” dia x 15/16” axle hub on the inside face and a standard Schrader air valve on the outer. Great for DIY large wagons, or to replace those little hand truck tires.
Biggest industrial bearing we’ve seen in a dog’s age, and we’ve got some old industrial dogs around here. This shielded, single-direction roller thrust bearing is 80mm OD x 30mm ID x 36mm thick. Unique bore. Will fit either 30mm square or 31mm round shaft. Part #208PP5.

Well, who doesn’t, really? And yet most of us confine our swiveling to our local dive. Until now, when you can buy genuine authentic bar-stool swivel plates and make home swiveling a reality. In heavy-duty steel, double 7” square plates are separated by a plethora of steel ball bearings, and have 1/4” mounting holes on the corners. Might be a touch stiff at first, but a little break-in swiveling and a drop of oil or dab of grease will fix that. Please note: These are designed to be stiff not swivel freely. To test, add oil or grease, stand on and twist and shout like the Beatles.
This nostalgia-prompting, zinc-plated aluminum single sheave pulley is made (and so marked) for a clothesline, which is what people dried clothes on before there were driers. If you had two of these, you could run a clothesline to the kitchen window of the tenement across the street and have something to tell your grandkids about.
