Just plug this set of 2-contact flat molded connectors into each other. (Each one has both a male and a female port.) Yes, they're on opposite ends of 10" long red and black, 18-2 AWG leads, but that's just a device to keep them together. This heavy-duty plastic line connector from Mennekes® has a boot and is rated for 32A at 200-250VAC. It's 2-phase with a ground lug through set-screw terminals (ID just under 5mm).
