The Long & Longer Of It
These standard pegboard hooks fit, wait for it, standard pegboards, with 1” spacing on the legs, and made of 7/32” steel. Not really hooks, these are the long straight thingies with a slight upward angle to approx the last 3/4”. You pick the 3-1/2” long or the 5-1/2” long ones. Very handy in pantries, basements and garages. And isn't it time you finished that organizing project from last year?SHARE
Now you can have a good, strong hook without drilling any holes. This plated magnetic hook sticks to any ferrous metal surface via a 2" dia alnico magnet with a 10-12 pound pull. Handy gadget to hold a tool, towel, broom or key ring (and if the ring is too heavy, consider throwing away the keys to your 1983 Chevy, and maybe a few more). The 3/4" long J-hooks have threaded ends and are removable. Our each is a package of (2).

Since the corner of a door has only so much real estate to hang stuff on, we all need to expand at some point. We do it with these durable, stylish, chrome-looking over-door hooks. No screws or drills needed. Just slip them over the top of any door up to 1-5/8”—bathroom, bedroom, entry, craft room, workshop, garage—and watch how much stuff ends up hanging from them instead of piled in a heap. They hang down 9” and stick out about 7” from the door, with a nice round ball on the end, and require a mere 1/16” clearance at the top for the door to close. That’s not a problem for most doors. Our each is a (3)-pack.

Large plastic hook, pointed on one end, blunt on the other. We have no idea what it was made for. Some suggest a meat hook in a pet food factory, which the shape supports. But the red or white plastic suggests not. Maybe it is for veggies? A loyal reader is convinced that it goes over a door and bananas are hung from it. Sounds good to us. The blunt end is shaped to hang over a square beam, 1-1/4" or so thick. The other pointy end, when the hook is so hung, will be 3" from the beam top, and will point out 3" and up @ about 15°. The whole is made of 3/8" dia plastic rod. You figure out what to do with it.
