ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS

Like blue jeans, but for wires. So you can color-code those wires instead of getting all confused. You get a 10-pack of 12" long x 9/32" pieces of heat-shrink tubing, (3) each of white and red, (4) of black. Rated for up to 600V 125°C. UL.

You buy as much cord as you like and make your own extension cords with these male and female electrical connectors. Also use them to replace damaged plugs or sockets. Rated for 15A at 125V, type B. Use with 14AWG wire or thicker. Connectors are 2-5/8" long x 1-1/2" dia at their thickest, with strain reliefs on both at the cable sides.

Just plug this set of 2-contact flat molded connectors into each other. (Each one has both a male and a female port.) Yes, they're on opposite ends of 10" long red and black, 18-2 AWG leads, but that's just a device to keep them together. When you're ready to hook them up, just clip those leads and get each end wired. You'll get a pack of (2) complete sets, perfect for hobbyists, tinkerers, and electronic DIYers.

Ten electrical leads with an alligator clip on each end. Each lead is about 14" long, not counting the 'gators. Vinyl coated 20 ga. wire with a vinyl cover over each clip. They come in an assortment of five colors with two leads in each color. The manufacturer calls them heavy duty but we would restrict them to the light currents and low voltages you will be using in your home experiments. Our each is a set of (10).

This is a panel-mount 3-prong grounded electrical plug rated for 15A at 125V, and we're thinking compressor applications. Has a 2" dia face with a 1-3/16" sq x 7/8" housing behind it, quick disconnect terminals and a ground screw, plus a pair of 2-3/4" mounting wings. Just plug your grounded extension cord into it. UL.

The knife switches are mounted on a plastic bases.

The miniature plastic socket holds a standard flashlight bulb with a 14 mm dia screw base.

We pack 6 volt and 3 volt round bulbs, or 1.5 volt bell-shaped bulbs, (5) to a package.(Bulbs are rated slightly higher to prevent them from burning out.)

Hook up the black plastic and metal 2" x 4-1/4" telegraph key with brass contacts and (2) terminal posts with nuts.

Our blue-plastic holder for (1) "D" battery has a small tab at each end to hook a lead to, and a 1/8" square mounting hole at each corner.

This heavy-duty plastic line connector from Mennekes® has a boot and is rated for 32A at 200-250VAC. It's 2-phase with a ground lug through set-screw terminals (ID just under 5mm). The (2) AC plugs are 6mm dia and the ground plug below it is 8mm. Adjustable. 19mm wide strain relief 52mm up from the terminal plate. Made in Germany. UL. Sorry, no mating connector.
