Has Your Coffee Graduated Yet?
In the lab or kitchen, these clear borosilicate glass mugs have a handle and lip and remind you that science is part of your every day. The smaller 400mL one has graduations in 50mL increments and the larger 1000mL one in 100mL increments with numeric markings every 100mL or 200mL accordingly; both with more room before you have to worry about spilling. Not intended for serious lab use as the volumes are approximates. Remember to ask for 236.5ml of coffee the next time you visit your favorite diner.

A Corker
There's a tool for everything. Think post-hole diggers for a model railroad layout. All right, all right. Think cork borers for all those solid corks and rubber stoppers in laboratories, the ones that need holes for glass and rubber tubing. Our each is a set of (3) 3-3/4" long brass tubes with sharpened ends and red-plastic T-handles. Diameters are 9/32", 7/32" and 5/32". They're nested on the 4-3/4" pin used to clear the plug from the tube.

LITMUS PAPER
Chemically treated paper strips to test for acid or base (alkaline) solutions. Use the blue for acids, the red for bases. The more sophisticated hydrion pH test paper strip indicates pH from 1 (bright red) to 14 (dark brown). Values in between can be read by comparing with a color chart that comes with the strips. All have (100) strips of test paper per vial.
