Prick tiny bits of gunk from nasty places with these U.S. made hardened stainless steel dental tools. But please don't use them for dental work. They are slight seconds, and some may have been re-worked which only matters to teeth. Trim excess glue from models, place a barrel on the deck of the ship-in-a-bottle, clean a rasp. Gadgeteers, get out your charge card. This is an instrument you absolutely have to own. It reaches down below sofa cushions, inside piggy banks, into fish tanks, and past a gallbladder. Not simultaneously, of course. The slim stainless steel alligator forceps is 10-1/4" long OA, with a 3" angled handle and an 7-3/4" reach. It has small 3/4" long tapered serrated jaws that measure approx. 1/8" wide x 3/16" at the largest and open to a max width of approx 3/8" or 10mm, in a delicate but tight fashion at the tip! Better buy an extra. We guarantee people are going to "borrow" these if they see them.

Two of the tweezers have serrated tips one is inverse, one has a slide latch and the others are straight flat tip. The set comes in a clear front plastic carrying case. Good for model cars, planes or hard to reach splinters.

Hey, there’s two words you don’t see next to each other that often: comfy hemostat. This one feels really nice in the fingers because of its black, rubber-coated handle. The whole stainless-steel tool is about 7-1/2" long with a 7/8” tip and big round finger holes. Locking the teeth keeps it clamped on its own. Also, as a bonus, just past the jaws lies a bladed suture scissor section, wow, that's convenient! This is a sturdy piece. Use it to hold something in place.

Hemostats are the clamplike devices dangling from veins and arteries in melodramatic operating scenes. Our particular collection are Pakistani surgical-grade instruments made of magnetic stainless steel. As such we rate them pretty good, but not fantastic. Hemostats look like little pliers. The jaws are relatively fine, with rounded tips. The inside faces are lightly serrated to get a grip on tubing or body plumbing. And the handles are much longer than the jaws. Now the heavenly part. Great hobby clamps that can be worked into small areas. Fine heat sinks for electronics. Good hook extractors for trout fisherpeople. Excellent tubing clamps for flow-sensitive chemistry experiments.
