Call it a tchotchke frame, a way to suspend a three-dimensional object inside a matte-finish plastic frame so it appears to float in mid-air. Our each is a 2-pack of 8" x 6" black frames with rounded corners and two layers of a thick, stretchy plastic film. Snap-off corners let you separate front and back, place the object (that you supply) between the two, and snap them back together. The films stretch to conform to the trinket and suspend it in the center, or wherever you put it. It should take objects up to 3" thick, or about the size of a baseball. The assembled frame itself is 1-1/4" thick. Mounts vertically or horizontally, or can stand up by itself.
When it comes to sticking wires together, we like to think we've really got connections. You pick the Connector Assortment, with (4) each of splice, ring, slide and fork connectors for 14-22 AWG wire or the Slide Pack, with (6) insulated slide connectors for 14-16 AWG wire. All made in the USA by 3M. UL/CSA.
Meeeeowwww! These 1990's-vintage collectible Catwoman™ plastic finger rings are adjustable for any size and have a 1" dia disk with her masked feline image on it. Primarily hot pink on black. New in the original unopened package of (8) rings, one for every finger, human or cat. Also good for scarf slides.
Can you say repurposing? This little kit is the product of a syringe company and is now a nifty little set that you can turn into a water pistol or air-powered dart gun. Includes a 50cc syringe, plastic handle, dual nozzle, plastic rubber-tipped dart, a straw to fill it with water and a tiny foam figure for a target. (Hang on to the nozzle or tape it on for best results.) Also useful for shooting meds into your pet alligator's mouth.
If your times are a-changing, you'll love this teal (which is the new orange) diaper bag. Measures 14" x 15" x 4" as carried on the 1-1/2" wide shoulder strap, but the top opens to become a 41" long changing pad. Closes securely with (2) hook-and-loop tabs and has a bottle pocket on the side. It's also great for the beach because of its big storage compartment, its fold-out-ness, and its Caribbean-conjuring teal. Also, while we wouldn't suggest carrying water in it, it's fairly water-tight.
Made to be used on the suction side of a vibratory pump, this flow sensor prevents measuring errors during water-flow pulses. Unit measures 2" dia (3" long with connectors) x 1-9/16". Uses 4.5-24VDC @ 5-13mA. Tubing connects via 1/4" OD hose nipples. Does not supply an output voltage but switches the signal terminal from ground to open. We'll throw in a data sheet for you, too. Digmesa part #974-9501.
You won't find any of those dinky little paper umbrellas in the drinks at our office luaus. We use these 4-1/2" dia plastic bumbershoots on top of long straws to decorate our all-day daiquiris. You get (4) umbrellas in assorted colors, plus (100) plastic bendy straws, 9" x 3/16". The straws are a little weak so you'll find that they stand up best with the bendy part is toward the bottom.
Introduce your house plants to the Book of Ecclesiastes and let them turn toward the window all by themselves so they get photosynthesized on all sides. This motorized turntable measures 10-3/4" dia x 2-1/8" tall and turns on a dozen internal ball-bearings so slowly you might not even notice. But trust us, it's turning. You set it for (1) or (2) revolutions per week and add (3) C-cell batteries for power. Will hold up to 40 lbs. Now go find some sun.
