These big, 4" long steel safety pins are practically jewelry in their own right. You get a 5-pack in assorted colors--gold, black, metallic pink, blue, green or others. Perfect for closing buttonless sweaters and tops or securing scarves in fascinating configurations.
That would be it’s name in German, but we’re just calling it the handiest thing since we were knee-high to a retail store. It’s a sturdy plastic (think milk-crate or industrial bin) storage box that doubles as a stool and step-stool, and folds for storage. Measures 14-3/4" x 12" x just 2-1/4" thick when folded, but snaps open to 10” x 12” across the top x 14” tall. Includes a fold-down cover and will support up to 250 lbs. We’ll pick one in orange or green-ish, both with a gray top.
The flat vase is 10-1/2" tall and made of thin formable plastic, flat enough to keep in a file folder, or to fold and put in your pocket when you're carrying roses somewhere. Fill it with warm water and mold it to the shape you want, empty it and fill it with cold water to hold that shape; add flowers. Ours are a lovely white and green, blue, or red floral pattern.
Here on the prairie we resent the calling of those things one puts under a glass "coasters". Why should the ocean fronts always get the credit?? So we are offering these roughly 3-1/2" sq. plastic devices under the inland name of "plainsers" You will get (8) all the same color of our choice, be it orange, brown, gold, black, silver or clear. We say square, but the sides are slightly convex out. Kind of like our midriff. An excellent value under any name.
Or lampy flowers, we're not sure. We do know these ceramic lamp finials (the thingees that hold the shade on) are sweetly colored bunches of flowers, about 1" dia x 3" tall. Our each is a box of (4) including (1) each with yellow chrysanthemums, yellow daffodils, rose, purple and yellow tulips, and rose and purple somethings which we think may sort of be pansies. All have green leaves around the flowers. Very pretty, but we suggest you do not use them with a hi-tech decor.
This digital bathroom scale goes up to 330 lbs, which you can easily carry if you have big bones and are somewhat tall. The scale itself is skinny, 1” thick on 1/2” feet x 13-3/4” square in creamy glass with a 3-7/8” LCD readout in lbs and kgs (in case you’re a lab specimen). Includes (4) “AA” batteries. We got it because it used to transmit Bluetooth but doesn’t anymore, which is good because you don’t want your weight hacked by the neighbors.
Call it the interior lineman special. Our newest digital bathroom scale has a 3-7/8” LCD that will show avoirdupois up to 330 lbs in 0.2-lb increments (or 150kg in 0.1 kg increments for Canadian players). Large enough for bigfoots, too, at 13-3/4” sq x 1-1/2” thick. Includes (4) ”AA”s for power. It had a Bluetooth in it, but it’s been removed. From Lifesource®.
Our first of its kind. Actually it’s a little yellow, lovebird-shaped scented candle, and the scent is lemon gelato, if you could burn gelato. Measures 4-1/2” tall x 6-1/2” beak to tail feathers. Burns for 25 hours, which is easily twice as long as an actual parrot.
From our collection of dopey ideas, this clear glass vase is shaped like a jumbo incandescent light bulb, but is 6-1/2" tall x 3-7/8" dia at its widest. Sits on its flattened head with a 1-1/4” polished aluminum screw-base at the neck.
