Why does Roger always get the credit for the skull and crossbones pirate flag? We feel it is time to share and have elected Barry to the post because he just walked by the vast editorial department here at A.S.&S. (AKA "my desk") Our Jolly Barry flag is 3ft x 5 ft., black polyester with a reinforced edge containing grommets for flying. It has the traditional skull and crossbones in white with the added fillip that the skull is wearing an eye patch! Sail Away!!
Hang this holographic prism in the window for delicate, changing color effects. As the sun shines through, it throws splashes of red, yellow, green, blue, violet and more around the room. The glass disc is 4-1/8" dia x 1/4" thick with a chrome-look frame. Comes with a suction cup hanger to mount it on a window. (Find a way to make it rotate for an especially cool effect!)
Time used to fly, but with global warming what it is, it now drips…off your mantel, desk, bookcase or the top of your cubicle. The melting clock is inspired by Dali's painting The Persistence of Memory and is surreal enough for anyone, even you. Measures 6-3/4" x 4-3/4" x 5-1/4" and requires a single "AA" battery which you have to supply, but can get at our affordable prices.
Welcome to AS&SDOT, the better department of transportation. We provide all the highway, driveway, hallway, deck or bathroom crossing signs that the government neglects to post because they don't know what's really crossing your path. Mount your very own well-made indoor/outdoor critter-crossing sign. Each is metal, 12" square with a graphic depiction of the critter(s), realistic or otherwise, and each hangs diagonally from a pre-drilled 1/4" hole.
Minimalism meets functionality. When nothing is hung on it, our clear-plastic key-shaped key holder, 10" long and about 4" at its widest point, blends right into the wall behind it. Very subtle. (6) 7/8" long L-shaped hooks fit through countersunk 3/16" square holes. You assemble it and supply the screws for the (2) 1/8" countersunk mounting holes. In theory, when it's mounted against the wall, the hooks are held in place. In practice, we suggest a bit of model glue at the base of each hook. Functionality aside, it's a cool giant key!
So you can have his parking spot. Just hang this 10" x 15" metal head-shot of Albert Einstein, marked "GENIUS PARKING", above the spot and wait for people to recognize your perspicacity--or leave you a note asking if you'll tutor their kids.
OK, you can buy a vowel as long as you don't mind if it's a consonant. Think of us as Pat Sajak with a sense of humor. These little metal-wrapped magnets are 3/8" square x 5/32" thick with a 1/4" upper-case letter in gold, and they're pre-bagged so we have no control over what you'll get except to say that you'll get (10) magnets with at least (6) different letters, and they'll probably spell something. They also fit into our 40650 picture frames.
You pick from our decorator frames with glass windows and a
colorful channel that looks like an extra mat running between the
aluminum inner and outer edges. Each blue edged large frame is 8-1/4" x 6-1/4" and
has a vertical and horizontal hanger and an easel. It's made for a 5" x 7" picture but it also has a 4" x 6" white mat
inside. Each small frame is 4-1/8" square with a 2-1/2" square glass and
magnets (and an easel) on the back. Stick a collection on the fridge
door, or arrange them on a shelf, dresser, etc. We'll pick from assorted
colors. The fun part is dressing up the small frames with little
magnetic charms, some dangly, that fit into the colored channel on the
frame. We'll pick (10) different ones from a selection of sports,
holiday and girlish themes.
