These UGears® STEM mechanical model kits made from laser-cut plywood won’t work in your ’68 Camaro, but if you or a kid you know is into the inner workings of engines, they’re up your alley. No glue required. Used together, they make a kit of their own, but you could also build (1) at a time. Both come with detailed instructions, a code to download a study guide, and an app that allows you to interact with and see the models in real-world usage. You choose: the Tachometer, an approx 9-1/2” x 4” x 5” geared model that works to measure rotation speed, and includes (133) pieces; or the Variator, aka transmission, which lets you experiment with different ratios, measures approx 6-1/2” x 5” x 4”, and includes (104) pieces. Both made in Ukraine. Ages 8+.
